Mykolenko was also taken aback after Donny van de Beek said he would rent a house for people fleeing war: “Donny van de Beek, a world-class player, came up to me and said, ‘I want to rent to people, whether in the Netherlands or Poland. We will pick them up from the border, settle them, pay.’ I don’t know how to thank these people.”
