Eintracht Frankfurt are the better team despite having to be a guest at Barcelona’s Camp Nou. Just at the 4th minute, the surprise happened at tEintracht Frankfurt was awarded a penalty immediately after defender Eric Garcia fouled Jesper Lindstrom in the box. At 11 meters, Filip Krstic easily defeated goalkeeper Ter Stegen and helped the Bundesliga representative take the lead.
After conceding an early goal, Barcelona made the team strong to attack, looking for an equalizer. The ball was continuously stuffed into the Frankfurt penalty area from the wing by the home team. In the 9th minute, Dembele made a cross, and Pierre-Emerick Aubame jumped over the bar. In the 18th minute, Ronald Araujo threatened Kevin Trapp’s goal with a cannon shot from outside the penalty area.
Being too tall and preoccupied with attacking left Barca with holes that opponents could exploit. In the 37th minute, Bo Lei shot from 25 meters from the left in the first stage, and did not give Ter Stegen a chance to save. Frankfurt’s 2-0 win over Eintrack was also the final result of the first half.
Into the second half, Barcelona continued to increase the pressure on Frankfurt’s goal, the goal is to find goals to shorten the score. In the end, the whole game defeated Frankfurt with a score of 3-2, thus helping the team to get a ticket to this year’s Europa League semi-final with a total score of 4-3 after two games.
