Tammy Abraham left Chelsea for £34m last summer to join Roma, where he has rediscovered his top form and even taken it a step further. The England international has scored 23 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions, proving that he can make it into the list of the best strikers in Europe since coming to Serie A to work with coach Jose Mourinho.

Ironic for Chelsea as Abraham is flourishing at a time when Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner are struggling at Stamford Bridge. Leaving Chelsea was the right decision for Abraham. Witnessing the performance of his friend, Reece James immediately expressed on MXH.

James’ post came after the former Aston Villa star scored twice to help Roma beat Lazio 3-0 in the Italian capital Derby. The victory put Roma in sixth place, eight points behind Juventus in fourth. 

Abraham’s goals for Roma bring success or failure to this team. Roma need the goals of the English star to complete the task of reaching the top 4 at the end of the season.
