Commenting on Chelsea ‘s transfer issue , journalist Paul Brown predicts that coach Thomas Tuchel will prioritize signing Jules Kounde this summer. The Blues always consider the French player their top target.
However, after many rumors, Chelsea has not been able to successfully activate the deal. The disagreement over the transfer fee between Chelsea and Sevilla caused the negotiation process to be frozen. However, The Blues are likely to restart the deal at the 2022 summer market.
Sevilla values Kounde at around £60 million. Besides Chelsea, Man United also has a certain interest in the 23-year-old star. According to The Athletic, Kounde is one of the Blues’ three priority targets in the summer, alongside West Ham United’s Declan Rice and AS Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni.
According to Paul Brown, Tuchel is a huge fan of Kounde . The German strategist still hopes to get the signature of the French national player after many failed deals.
“I think when the futures of Rudiger and Christensen are clear, Chelsea will prioritize signing Kounde this summer ,” Paul Brown told GIVEMESPORT.
