Diario newspaper revealed, the Camp Nou team is currently planning to bring in a new striker. That is why Barcelona approached Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while eliminating Ousmane Dembele. Therefore,  many Premier League teams approached this player, including Chelsea.

 Chelsea is really serious about this deal.

The 24-year-old striker shows a strong point in terms of speed, can move like a whirlwind and maneuver skillfully in tight spaces. Those are qualities suitable for the Premier League. Having worked with coach Thomas Tuchel in the past, Dembele is said to be ready to join Chelsea.

Most recently, journalist Dean Jones shared on GMS: “Dembele knows that Chelsea want him and Chelsea are also very serious about this deal, as far as I know.”

According to Sport, Barcelona used to spend 135 million pounds on Dembele and now they accept to sell at a loss when Dembele’s contract is only about 6 months left to expire. It was an opportunity for the Stamford Brid team to approach and recruit Dembele.

At this time, Chelsea’s attack faced many problems. Therefore, they gradually proved to be inferior compared to Man City in the race to the Premier League title. Coach Thomas Tuchel then needed a breath of fresh air to come back strong and Dembele could be the answer.

 Dembele can completely revive his career if he moves to Chelsea.

The record of 31 goals and 23 assists in 129 games for Barcelona is clearly nothing special. Not to mention the bigger concern is the number of games Dembele has missed – a staggering 102 injuries since moving to the Nou Camp in 2017.

However, if any coach knows how to best exploit Dembele’s qualities, it’s definitely Tuchel. During their time together at Dortmund, Dembele scored 31 goals in just 49 games. That was really the time when this player exploded.

Remember, Dembele is also only 24 years old. After all, if Chelsea think Dembele has an injury problem, there’s no reason why Tuchel can’t get the player back to his level once again.
