One of the special events on the first day of the event was the “2v2 Soccer Field”. The 64 athletes who registered online were divided into 32 teams (2 players per team). It’s a knockout round where teams will play qualifying rounds to select the final 16 teams who will represent a Bundesliga team. The 16 teams will continue to participate in the head-to-head competition to win Bundesliga gifts including: genuine jerseys, Silver Disc models (Meisterschale mini) and balls. On the second day, 18 teams of 3 players each will have the opportunity to show their talents under pressure and become the winner of the penalty shootout. In addition to the dramatic play, participants can experience many other activities and challenges with soccer skills, such as hitting a goal or challenging the ball to dribble over obstacles.
Meet and socialize with Bundesliga legends
Borussia Dortmund legend Roman Weidenfeller will join the Bundesliga experience, chatting and signing autographs over two days of the event. During his 16 seasons with Black Gold, Weidenfeller won 2 Bundesliga titles and 2 DFL Pokal titles, as well as the 2014 World Cup trophy for the German national team.
In addition, the mascots of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund will meet to bring joy and excitement to fans of all ages.
